Meet Our Donors
We thank all our planned-gift donors for their generous support. Here are some of their stories.
Robert ('69) and Joanna Kim
Originally from the west coast, Robert Kim's first time east of California proved to be a bit of a culture shock, but Waynesburg soon became his second home. "Over the four years at Waynesburg, I made many —lifelong' friends, whom I frequently contact, and have reunited with at many Homecomings," Robert said. "It is something that I cherish most." Now retired after a 36-year career as a flight attendant with American Airlines, Robert and his wife, Joanna, make annual contributions to programs like Athletics, student scholarships and the Fund for Waynesburg. They also chose to support the University by including it in their Living Trust.

Chuck and Shirley Baily
In the fall of 1973, Chuck and Shirley Baily served as Resident Directors for three years in Waynesburg's Martin Hall, doing college ministry in partnership with the CCO (the Coalition for Christian Outreach). "Working at Waynesburg totally changed the trajectory of our lives," Chuck said. "It created a life-long passion to come alongside students during these most important four years." In 1976, Chuck returned to his family's local insurance business with a renewed sense of purpose. Shirley later taught for 25 years in math and computer science at Waynesburg. Each year, Chuck and Shirley financially support the University in a variety of ways, and they each made the thoughtful, generous decision to include Waynesburg in their wills.
